Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao: North Bangkok Condo Full Review

Summary

Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao offers contemporary condo living in North Bangkok with shopping, dining and transit access in one complete lifestyle destination.

If you work anywhere along the Blue Line or you just want to be near one of Bangkok's busiest intersections without paying Sukhumvit prices, Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao deserves a serious look. This Ananda Development project sits right at the Ratchada-Ladprao junction, literally steps from MRT Lat Phrao station. It opened back in 2017 and has become a reliable pick for young professionals, couples, and expats who want city convenience at a reasonable price point. Let me walk you through what it is actually like to live here.

Location and Getting Around

Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao sits on Ratchadaphisek Road, right where it crosses Ladprao Road. MRT Lat Phrao station is about a two minute walk from the lobby. That alone makes this condo a winner for anyone commuting along the Blue Line. You can reach MRT Phra Ram 9 in one stop, Chatuchak Park in three stops, and Silom in roughly twenty minutes without transferring.

If you also need BTS access, the nearby MRT Chatuchak Park station connects to BTS Mo Chit. So getting to Siam, Asok, or On Nut is totally doable. Buses run constantly along both Ratchadaphisek and Ladprao roads, and expressway on ramps are close by for anyone who drives.

Picture this: you finish work at an office near MRT Rama 9 or even down at MRT Lumphini. You tap out at MRT Lat Phrao, grab a grilled pork skewer from a street vendor on the way home, and you are in your condo within ten minutes of leaving the station. That kind of door to door convenience is hard to beat at this price range.

The Building and Facilities

Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao is a twin tower project with over 1,800 units spread across two high rise buildings. That is a lot of units, and yes, the common areas can feel busy during peak hours. But Ananda did a decent job with the facilities. You get a rooftop pool, a fitness center, a co-working space, a garden area, and 24 hour security with key card access throughout the building.

The lobby is clean and modern. The elevators can get crowded during morning rush between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, which is pretty standard for large condo projects in Bangkok. The management team keeps the common areas well maintained, and the juristic office is responsive to maintenance requests, at least compared to some older buildings in the area.

A friend of mine moved here from an older condo on Soi Ladprao 15. She told me the biggest upgrade was not the pool or the gym. It was having a functioning mail room and a package locker system that actually worked. Small things, but they matter when you order everything online.

Unit Types and Rental Prices

Most units here are studios and one bedroom layouts. Studios typically run between 22 and 26 square meters. One bedroom units range from about 30 to 35 square meters. There are also a few two bedroom units in the mix, though those are harder to find on the rental market.

For rent, expect to pay around 9,000 to 12,000 THB per month for a furnished studio. One bedroom units go for roughly 13,000 to 18,000 THB depending on the floor, the view, and how recently the owner updated the furniture. Two bedroom units, when available, tend to list between 22,000 and 28,000 THB.

Compared to condos along the Sukhumvit corridor, you are saving a good 30 to 40 percent here for similar quality. A studio near BTS Thong Lo at this finish level would easily cost 15,000 THB or more. So the value proposition is strong, especially for people whose offices are on the Blue Line or in the Ratchada business district.

Neighborhood and Daily Life

The Ratchada-Ladprao intersection is one of those spots where you genuinely do not need to go far for anything. Central Plaza Ladprao is right across the street. You have got a Tops supermarket, a food court, banks, a cinema, and dozens of shops all within walking distance. Union Mall is a short ride away for budget shopping.

Street food options along Ratchadaphisek Road are excellent. The area around MRT Lat Phrao has noodle shops, coffee stands, and convenience stores on every corner. For nightlife, the famous Ratchada night market area is nearby, though it has shifted locations a few times over the years.

One of my colleagues lives here and works at a company near MRT Sutthisan. His entire commute is one MRT stop. He walks to the station, taps in, and is at his desk in under fifteen minutes. On weekends, he jogs at Chatuchak Park, which is two stops north. His monthly rent for a one bedroom unit on the 20th floor is 14,500 THB. Not bad for a condo with a pool view.

Who Should Rent Here

Ideo Mix Ratchada-Ladprao works best for single professionals and couples who prioritize transport access and value. If you work anywhere along the MRT Blue Line from Chatuchak down to Silom, this location just makes sense. It is also a solid choice for people who want to live near major shopping without paying a premium for a Sukhumvit address.

Families with kids might find the studio and one bedroom units too compact. And if you need BTS Sukhumvit Line access daily, the transfer at Chatuchak adds time to your commute. But for the right renter, this condo delivers a lot for the money.
