If you've been hunting for a condo on the Sukhumvit line that doesn't cost a fortune, you've probably come across Elio Del Nest at least once. Sitting right next to BTS Udomsuk, this project from Ananda Development has been on renters' radars for a few years now. But is it actually a good place to live, or is it one of those buildings that looks great in photos and disappoints in person? I've spent time in the area and talked to people who live there, so here's an honest look at what renting at Elio Del Nest is really like.

Location and Getting Around from BTS Udomsuk

The biggest selling point of Elio Del Nest is its location right at BTS Udomsuk. We're talking a two to three minute walk from your door to the platform. For anyone commuting into the city center, that's a massive win. You can be at BTS Asok in about 20 minutes and Siam in roughly 25. No fighting traffic, no expensive Grab rides during rush hour.

Udomsuk itself is one of those neighborhoods that flies under the radar. It doesn't have the glamour of Thonglor or the buzz of On Nut, but that's part of the appeal. Soi Udomsuk (Sukhumvit 103) runs deep and has a solid mix of local Thai restaurants, 7 Elevens, laundry shops, and small cafes. There's a Big C Extra nearby for groceries, and Mega Bangna is just a short taxi ride away when you need a proper mall day.

One thing to keep in mind: the immediate area around the BTS station can get congested during rush hour. If you're driving, mornings on Sukhumvit heading toward the city can test your patience. But honestly, if you live this close to the BTS, you probably won't bother with a car most days.

The Building and Unit Quality

Elio Del Nest is a high rise development with two towers, completed around 2018. The design leans modern and clean, with a lot of glass and a lobby that feels more upscale than you'd expect for this price range. Units are compact, which is typical of Ananda projects. Most of the rental stock you'll find is either studios at around 24 to 26 square meters or one bedrooms ranging from 30 to 34 square meters.

Let's be real about the size. A 26 square meter studio is tight. If you're someone who works from home and needs a desk setup plus a proper living area, the one bedroom is the better call. I know a freelance designer who rented a studio here and ended up moving to a one bedroom within six months because the studio just didn't have enough breathing room for a work from home lifestyle.

Build quality is decent for the price point. The fixtures feel solid, the air conditioning works well, and the kitchenettes come with a basic setup. Some units have been furnished nicely by owners, while others have that bare minimum landlord furniture vibe. Always ask for recent photos or visit in person before signing.

Facilities That Actually Matter

Elio Del Nest has a good spread of amenities. The rooftop pool is the highlight. It's not huge, but it offers nice open views and doesn't get as crowded as pools at bigger projects like The Base Park West nearby. There's a gym that covers the basics, a co working space on one of the lower floors, and a garden area between the towers.

The co working space is a nice touch, especially if you just need a change of scenery from your unit. I've seen residents set up there in the mornings with laptops and coffee, treating it like their personal cafe. It's quieter than most coffee shops on the main road and you don't have to buy a 150 baht latte to justify sitting there for three hours.

Security uses a key card system for all common areas and elevators, and there's 24 hour staffing at the lobby. Parking is available in the basement, though spaces can be limited. If you own a car, confirm parking availability with the landlord before you commit.

Rent Prices and What You Should Expect to Pay

This is where Elio Del Nest really shines for budget conscious renters. Studios typically go for 8,000 to 12,000 THB per month depending on the floor, view, and furnishing level. One bedroom units range from 12,000 to 16,000 THB. Occasionally you'll see nicely renovated units pushing toward 18,000, but that's the upper end.

Compare that to similar BTS adjacent condos closer to On Nut or Bearing, and you're getting solid value. A colleague of mine moved here from a studio near BTS Punnawithi and saved about 3,000 baht a month for a similar sized unit with better facilities. Over a year, that's 36,000 baht back in your pocket.

Common area fees are handled by the owner, but always double check. Electricity and water are typically billed separately, and some landlords charge above the standard MEA rate. Ask upfront so there are no surprises on your first bill.

Who Is Elio Del Nest Best For?

This condo works best for young professionals, solo expats, and couples who prioritize BTS access and affordability over nightlife and trendy cafes. It's not the right fit if you want to walk to rooftop bars or be in the middle of the Thonglor scene. But if you want a clean, modern unit steps from the BTS at a price that won't drain your bank account, Elio Del Nest is a genuinely smart pick.

It's also a solid option for people working in the Bangna or Bang Na area, since you can easily hop on the BTS or take Sukhumvit Road eastward. Families with young kids might find the studios and one bedrooms too small, but single renters and couples tend to do well here.

If Elio Del Nest sounds like it could work for you, start by browsing current listings and comparing prices across multiple units. Rents can vary a lot depending on the owner, so shopping around pays off. You can search available units and get matched with verified listings at superagent.co, where the whole process is designed to save you time and keep things transparent.
