The project features two towers with units ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Most face either the river or the city, and the river facing units deliver genuinely impressive panoramic views. We are not talking about a sliver of water between two buildings. This is wide, open, unobstructed Chao Phraya right in front of you.
Rent here typically falls between 8,000 and 18,000 THB per month depending on the unit size and floor. A one bedroom with a river view on a mid floor usually goes for around 12,000 to 15,000 THB. Compare that to similar river facing condos inside Bangkok, where you would easily pay 25,000 to 40,000 THB for the same experience, and you start to see the appeal.
Location and Getting Around from Nonthaburi
Let's address the elephant in the room. Nonthaburi is not Sukhumvit. It is not Silom. For some renters, that is a dealbreaker. But for others, especially remote workers, freelancers, or people working in the northern parts of Bangkok, the location actually makes a lot of sense.

A commute to the Rama 9 business district, for example, takes around 35 to 40 minutes door to door.
If you drive or ride a motorbike, Rattanathibet Road connects directly to Ngamwongwan and Chaeng Watthana, making government offices, Impact Arena, and Central Westgate easily accessible. Weekend grocery runs to Tops or Big C on Rattanathibet take about five minutes.
Facilities and Day to Day Living
Origin Property knows how to pack amenities into a project, and The Politan Rive is no exception. The rooftop infinity pool overlooking the river is the star of the show. Residents I have spoken to say it rarely gets crowded, even on weekends. That alone is a luxury you would never get at a similarly priced condo in Ratchada or Ladprao.
There is also a well equipped fitness room, a co working space, and a sky lounge area. The lobby feels more like a boutique hotel than a budget condo, which is a nice touch. Parking is available and generally not an issue, unlike some inner city projects where you are fighting for a spot every evening.
For daily life, the surrounding area has plenty of street food vendors, 7 Elevens, and local Thai restaurants. A friend of mine who rents a one bedroom here on the 20th floor works remotely for a European company. He pays 13,000 THB a month, wakes up to river views, hits the pool before lunch, and grabs pad kra pao from a stall downstairs for 50 baht. His quality of life would cost triple in Thonglor.
Who Should Consider The Politan Rive?
